It was the day after Christmas and it was unreasonably warm. The unit was not working and it was miserable conditions. We called and came out. Mr. Kahn was super knowledgeable and very approachable. He diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem. I like the way he explained the remedy. So happy and slept well that night! Thank you !!

Moss Heating and Cooling arrived right on time, were super reliable and got the work done efficiently. Their price was fair and they kept me in the loop the whole time with clear communication. Great service from a heating contractor I can count on.

Albert was considerate when he arrived. He listened as to what was occurring. He immediately set about his work and within just a few minutes he had isolated the issue and repaired the problem. I made the call around 4 pm and by 5:30 he had arrived and had my unit running normally.

Moss did a great job with our AC unit. Explained what he was doing, gave advice for better performance of our unit and made sure everything was working before he departed. Excellent work.

Once again, my heat died...on a weekend. Service was great, setting me up and the technician called quickly to tell me my place in line. He was there when he said, and did a very thorough inspection before fixing the problem. Richard showed me pictures, explained my options thoroughly, and gave me what I think is a good deal.

The people Moss employs are absolute rockstars. Richard is no exception. I had a new system installed yesterday but wasn’t getting heat the way I thought I should. Richard stopped by this morning, took about 5 seconds to spot the issue, and got things working like they should. He even took the time to explain what was going on, what I could expect in terms of timing, and assured me I made the right decision to call. I continue to be impressed by the level and quality of service Moss provides. I really can’t recommend any other HVAC providers in the DFW area MORE than Moss Heating & Cooling.

Richard was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He took care of our system quickly and efficiently. He went over everything that he worked on, took pictures and discussed observations of our unit, and discussed how best to take care of it in the future. He went over best air filters to use and tips on using the WiFi on our thermostat. Great Experience!

Nathan was very helpful in fixing our heating issue. He arrived within the scheduled window and was quick to diagnose the issue. We did have to wait a few days for a part but once it came, he came back and installed it quickly. All had been working well since then.

Review changed from 1 to 5 stars. Summary of original review: Moss did some work on our unit recently. This past weekend our unit stopped working. Another tech come out that night as part of an emergency call and identified the problem as incorrect installation/wiring of the original tech's work. He said nothing could be done that night but he would talk to his service manager on Monday. Fast forward to Monday morning shortly after 8am and I received a call from the service manager saying they had the parts ordered and they would be out that day to resolve the issue at no cost to us. At the time of writing this update, our AC is fully functional! Mistakes happen. In the end they did right by us with no questions asked in a reasonable timeframe. Thank you to Richard and Michael!

My AC went out and I've been searching for quotes to get the system replaced. So far, Moss Heating & Cooling has been prompt, friendly, professional, and very reasonable on pricing and options. Jeff was very knowledgeable, helpful, and respectful and I'd definitely recommend them for your HVAC needs.

This company is amazing. I called them Sunday night and I expect they will say something like we will get to you by Tuesday but they said we are coming today. The only company that works on Sunday. The operator was very professional very polite. TheTech came on time. Very professional and very efficient he explained everything and what is wrong. He gives me options and prices detailed without any pushing to which one I should choose. One of the options if I don’t want repairs and do it myself. It’s amazing nowadays that someone will give you this option. Repair was fast. Able to collect money on the spot and cleaned after himself. Amazing service

I can't say enough good things about Moss! The last two technicians described the whole process of what they were doing and why, in as much detail as I could ask! They give technical preventative maintenance tips, not just that you have change your filter, keep the units vents clean etc., no, they give you they give you reasoning for doing these things and give you things to look out for. Tanner, the last Tech was really personable and very, very knowledgeable in his field. I'd brought up some concerns about a possible solenoid or capacitor issue, so Tanner told me and showed me what he was looking for, showed me results and described what would be the normal tolerances. No company has to do this, and understandably, a lot of people don't want others looking over their shoulders when they're trying to work, but Tanner was a champ and he gave me some great insights as to what was going on inside the compressors. With great customer service, very well established processes and technology, i.e. alerts, tracking, invoice and feedback generation etc., I feel validated in my choice of A/C companies. I always come off a lot better educated after working with and talking with Moss! Can't send enough thanks. You guys rock!

Moss handles our semi annual services. On each appointment they were on time or early and the technicians are thorough and professional.

Sales rep Tanner was fantastic even brought use a portable ac unit to use until our new system could be installed (it was really hot inside house). Mr. Cortez and Mr. Rodriguez were on time and did a great job including cleanup and removal of old system. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. I had a great experience with Moss Mechanical as usual. We had had a safety switch trip in our unit. Arturo figured out the problem in no time, showing me exactly what he had found and what the normal operation should be.He was extremely polite, efficient and detailed, showing me what he had found and the reason for it. I highly recommend asking for Arturo by name when you need servicing. Over the last 3 years Moss Mechanical has always been there for us. This company has excellent customer service and I would recommend them to anyone looking for service with their HVAC system. All of the individuals that I dealt with from the salesperson down to the actual individuals that installed the unit were very knowledgeable and made sure as a customer I knew how to manage the new HVAC system and were readily available to answer all questions.

Our old HVAC unit died unexpectedly one morning, and the Moss team had a technician out the same day. They explained our repair options but were very clear that it would only be a short-term fix. The next day, Cris came out to walk us through replacement options. He was thorough in assessing our home’s needs and presented several choices, not only recommending a system that fit our house but also suggesting ductwork improvements to maximize efficiency. The 60-month 0% financing option was a huge help, given the unexpected expense. Within two days, Moss had a crew at our home. They arrived promptly at 7:30 a.m. and worked until 6 p.m., completing the full installation in one day. Throughout the process, the crew was courteous, professional, and mindful about minimizing any mess. Our new system has made a world of difference in the comfort and efficiency of our older home. We couldn’t be happier with the service from Moss!

Fast and dependable service with professional personnel

Our install of a new heat pump, duct replacement and several tweaks to make our home more comfortable and air cleaner was just completed and this is the surest 5 star review I could do. The front end experience with Robert was consultative and resulted in a package that maximized value, accomplishing all our objectives. The install team of Miguel and Reynaldo was absolutely the A team. They arrived on time for install completely prepared and worked diligently as a seamless team, inside/outside, up/down. HIGHLY respectful, timely, competent. I got to be around for the entire install and could see the care and expertise in everything they did. We solved multiple issues that the prior system had at a fair price and I can already tell the house is more comfortable than it has ever been.

Moss Heating & Cooling had came out to do an inspection of our heating and cooling unit. Tanner did a great job going through everything and explaining everything he was doing. I definitely like to thank him for his professionalism and knowledge of what he was doing and explaining everything he did. I definitely would like to have him over here when we need to have services done in the future.

Very professional service, from diagnosing our A/C problem, to discussing several repair and replacement options. We chose to have our system repaired and it was the most economical choice. Other companies seemed to push hard for total system replacement which was not absolutely necessary. Moss will definitely be my go-to HVAC company for future needs.

Moss Heating & Cooling installed a new American Standard HVAC unit at my home this summer. Miguel and Rolando did a great job on installation. They were experienced and efficient. Sharjeel was my Quality technician and did a great Quality Control check a week after installation and verified that everything was working as designed. The whole experience was great -- 5 stars!

Incredibly thorough and professional, looked at all my units and let me know that the issue wasn’t with the ac unit the other company wanted to replace. Moss has earned my business and my trust, I’ll be recommending them to my neighbors when the ask who we use.

Needed my HVAC replaced. Found company through a friend posting on social media. The quote for replacement was completed via a complimentary visit. After arriving Jeff S., the PM, asked thorough questions like are there rooms in the house that seem hotter than others? that made the visit feel comprehensive. He was straightforward, patient, and answered all questions. And most of all, the replacement quoted was a fair and good price. 8/11/25 edit - New HVAC installed! Working great. Miguel E. and his installation crew completed in 1 day and were respectful and timely. He spent time after install to explain how my HVAC filters work, and when to change them out etc. House feels cooler at a higher temperature compared to my old system. Love it. Thank you!

There’s a lot to say here. First, this company has all the right values in terms of how they operate and treat human beings. I really appreciate the honest feedback we received from the technician, without pushy sales tactics in the home. Overall very impressed with the professionalism they demonstrated as well as the extensive knowledge and breakdown the tech gave about the issue we were having. Made us feel comfortable moving forward with them, and the response time was great! I think my wife called them in the morning, and they opened up an afternoon slot to come out. Tech was thorough, and the whole experience didn’t feel rushed. He was patient to listen, and after they spent time checking out the unit was able to explain what was really happening.
